Step by step

  1. Pick a past text post that did well and copy its text from LinkedIn (open the post and select the text).

Why turn a text post into a carousel?

A carousel gives the same idea a second life in a different format, and swiping through slides keeps people on the post longer than reading a block of text.

Can I paste the post's link?

LinkedIn posts usually can't be read without signing in, so paste the text instead. That also lets you trim it first.

Should I post the carousel right after the text post?

Leave some time in between, for example a few weeks, and write a fresh intro line so it doesn't read as a duplicate.

Does it work for Instagram too?

Yes. Download the PNGs instead of the PDF; 1080×1350 is also the best-fitting Instagram feed size.
