Short version
No accounts, no sign-up, no cookies, no ads, no third-party analytics. We do not sell data.
What happens to your content
- Text pasted on slidler.com is turned into slides in your browser and is not sent to our server.
- Links pasted on slidler.com are fetched by our server to read the page. If a site blocks us, the link may be fetched through Jina's public reader (r.jina.ai). YouTube transcripts may be fetched through Supadata. Those services see the link you asked for, not who you are.
- API and MCP requests (including ChatGPT and other AI assistants) send the text or link to our server, which builds the carousel and a PDF. The PDF is kept for up to 15 minutes so you can download it, then deleted. We do not keep the text.
Logs
- Web server access logs record IP address, time, method, path (without query string), status and size. The export counter request (/api/hit) is also logged with browser user agent and referring page. Logs are deleted after about 60 days.
- Service logs record the domain of a fetched link, status, timing, page count and an export id, not the text.
- The page counts exports with a simple request to /api/hit. It carries no personal profile.
We use IPs only for rate limiting, abuse prevention and counting usage. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes connection data to serve and protect it.
